Ankur is the Managing Principal of Prime Group GP, responsible for investment strategy, capital allocation, and asset execution. He brings over 20 years of experience across private equity, hedge funds, and investment banking.
Prior to founding Prime Group, Ankur served as a Partner at Orange Capital, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund in New York. There, he deployed a private equity approach to public markets, leading the firm's opportunistic investments across real estate, gaming, and infrastructure.
Previously, Ankur was a Research Analyst at Cohen & Steers, a global real estate investment manager with over $90 billion in assets under management.
He began his institutional career as a Private Equity Associate at The Carlyle Group, following his tenure in Real Estate Structured Finance at Bank of America Securities, where he focused on CMBS securitization.
Ankur holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a B.S., Magna Cum Laude, from North Carolina State University.
